Slavische Filmabende: Cankar (Slovenischer Film)

Ivan Cankar (1876-1918) is considered the most important Slovenian writer. His word has the same strength and freshness even after one hundred and more years. He is the icon of the nation, to which they continually adhere to, he is abused for political programs, but not many people read him, let alone understand. The documentary part opposes many myths about the writer's alcoholism, relationships with many women and causes of his death. The dramatized scenes draw the motifs from his literature, preserved letters and texts from his friends. Director: Amir Muratović.
