Július Fujak: The Story of the Tune & Transparent Sculptures

Sometime in 1913, Marcel Duchamp wrote the following sentence on a small piece of paper: “Sculpture musicale: Sons durant et partant de différents points et formant une sculpture sonore qui dure.” (Musical Sculpture: Sounds appearing and disappearing from different places are forming a sounding sculpture that lasts.) The concert refers to Duchamp only in the sense of a primary impulse, as the music is more the result of dialogical symbiosis of composed, comprovised and acousmatic music  (with various field recordings as kind of sonic photographs). These sonic-musical pieces can be perceived as the translucent, transparent sculptures passing in their ever-changing flowing here & now (or hear & now).
