Lecturers and students of the Slavic Department explore the languages, literatures and cultures of the Slavic linguistic area in a European context. Our philological and cultural-historical work is based on primary sources in Slavic languages, inspired by traditions of the humanities in the East and West. Our goal is to create a space of shared learning and research where teachers, students, guests and partners can contribute to an intellectual community.
